Parker SC is a North Yorkshire based organisation running Ofsted Registered Private Residential Children’s Homes. The organisation delivers trauma-informed care to looked after children and young people within the UK.
Parker SC was established in 2021 by Natalie Amber Raw. Natalie has worked in residential children’s homes since 2014, starting as a residential childcare worker in therapeutic children’s homes. Natalie has developed within children’s residential settings across the years, within management and consultancy roles. Natalie is the owner and director of Parker SC, and responsible individual for the settings

The service adapts to the individual needs of the children, and is fluid and dynamic in its approach.

Reflective practice is adopted at all times within the organisation, transparency is always promoted and is imbedded into the organisations documents, policies and procedures, and working practices.

The organisation endeavours to build resiliency skills through an accepting and fluid approach, the organisation understands that this is significant for children’s development.
Ethos of Parker SC:
Parker SC adopts an ethos of acceptance and nurture, the model of care in our homes encourages us to support each child in an individualistic way. Our adults are trained in trauma informed approaches which promote our culture of child-centred practice. Our ethos and culture guide and support our teams to consider children’s lived experiences and how best to support and care for children in safe and nurturing ways.
